Join Wacker's Team as a Global BU Controlling Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Global BU Controlling Manager to join our team in Shanghai. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Active participation in Wacker Silicones' BU/SU/Operations committees, providing business advice and decision-making support.
  • Analysis and reporting on financial matters, including opportunities and risks, profitability analysis, and investment calculations.
  • Creation and maintenance of global reporting systems, business instruments, and controlling aids.
  • Evaluation and analysis of business development in joint ventures.
  • Business contact person for BUs/SUs/Operations, providing advice and training on controlling-related topics.
  • Leadership and participation in divisional projects and special assignments.
Requirements:
  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in business with a focus on controlling, finance, accounting, or management.
  • Several years of experience in controlling or comparable business fields in a multinational company or business consultancy firm.
  • Very good knowledge of business administration, methods, and procedures of operational and strategic controlling.
  • Good basic chemical-technological knowledge.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, presentation, and moderation techniques, as well as project management skills.
  • Very good written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Flexibility, commitment, resilience, and ability to work independently and in a team.
