About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Director to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement business development strategies, grow and develop the insurance portfolio, especially for KNSure (marine cargo).

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Business Development Strategies: Assist in designing and implementing business development strategies to drive growth and development of the insurance portfolio.
  • Customer and Relationship Management: Fully understand the needs of customers and transform opportunities into businesses.
  • Business Opportunities and Pipelines: Identify business opportunities and generate pipelines by joining exhibitions, delivering insurance talks and presentations.
  • Client and Insurance Company Relationships: Maintain and develop good relationships with clients and insurance companies to generate new business leads.
  • Marketing and Sales Initiatives: Design, perform, and drive marketing activities and sales initiatives, such as roadshows and trainings.
  • Compliance and Financial Management: Ensure compliance of all business development activities and handle financial dealings, such as GP booking & allocation, premium and commission aging management.

Requirements

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: The role holder should possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ambitious, Self-Motivated, and Result-Driven: They should be ambitious, self-motivated, and result-driven.
  • Good Business Acumen: They should have good business acumen and a sharp eye for business opportunities.
