About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to drive exceptional profitable growth in the Greater China region as our Regional Director for Health and Biosciences. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of our Health and Biosciences business in Greater China.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire sales teams across Greater China for the five respective Health and Biosciences segments: Health, Home and Personal Care, Animal Nutrition Health, Cultures and Food Enzymes, and Grain Processing.
  • Develop and manage regional industry strategies in collaboration with segment leaders.
  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Ensure alignment with global Health and Biosciences strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective account strategies for major customers.
  • Maintain high-level commercial relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to drive growth.
  • Act as the face of Health and Biosciences in interactions with government bodies and industry associations.
  • Advocate for Health and Biosciences' interests and contribute to shaping industry policies.
  • Build strong networks and partnerships.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share in the Greater China region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, or any other relevant discipline from a reputable institute.
  • Advanced degree, MBA, MSc, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in Commercial Sales or Business Development role.
  • Proven track record within the Specialty Chemicals, Biosciences, or related industries.
  • International mindset with strong understanding of the Greater China market dynamics.
  • Organizational leader with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage at all levels.
  • Strategic vision, innovative thinking, business acumen with ability to drive and rally cross-functional regional teams.
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to connect the dots.
  • Ability to think beyond and look forward to strategic impact of decisions.
  • Positivity, flexibility, resilience with agile thinking.
  • Strong with Financial forecast and reporting.
  • Ability to network and influence throughout functional organization to deliver results.
  • Excellent business acumen, capability to translate opportunities into solid business cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in matrix environment with different business leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel.
