Regional Marketing Lead, Greater China

Position Overview
IE University, a prestigious international institution with a strong reputation for innovation and educational excellence, is seeking a Marketing Manager to enhance our presence in the Greater China market. This role can be based in either Shanghai or Madrid and is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be tasked with crafting, executing, and managing a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at achieving revenue goals for both Master’s and Undergraduate Programs, while simultaneously elevating the brand visibility of IE University within the Greater China region.
Key Responsibilities
Main Duties Include:
Formulate a cohesive marketing strategy and execute campaigns designed to enhance the brand recognition of IE University and promote our educational offerings in the Greater China region. Collaborate with both the global marketing team and local Greater China team to create relevant marketing materials, ensuring alignment with global messaging across all platforms. Oversee marketing agencies and coordinate with internal teams to develop and implement multi-channel marketing initiatives, including but not limited to: Social Media (WeChat, Weibo, Bilibili, Red, Douyin, Zhihu), Digital Advertising, Chinese Website, Online & Offline Events, Direct Marketing Campaigns, and Marketing Collaterals such as videos. Set both short-term and long-term marketing objectives, assess the performance of all marketing initiatives, and evaluate the effectiveness of each channel for optimization. Track marketing leads in CRM systems to ensure the growth of a robust pipeline and the generation of quality marketing and sales leads.Candidate Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with a Master’s program from a recognized institution. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or branding roles. Proven ability to work collaboratively with both external and internal stakeholders, while also being capable of working independently; however, a team-oriented approach is essential at IE. Exceptional communication skills to engage with professionals from diverse backgrounds. A solution-oriented mindset coupled with a positive attitude and innovative thinking. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a formal requirement.Additional Information
