**Job Summary**
Cooper Standard is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan to establish the company as a supplier of choice in the local market.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive business growth and revenue.
- Establish strong relationships with major OEM automobile manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Develop and manage a budget for the sales department.
- Report to the Director of Business Development China and the Plant Manager on sales status, progress, and plans.
- Establish procedures and processes for customer interaction, including quoting, engineering requests, prototype parts, and price negotiation.
- Provide support to the Plant Manager to facilitate the launch of a workshop and final production facility.
**Requirements**
- 5 years of sales management experience in the automotive industry with contacts in major foreign-joint venture automotive makers in China.
- University degree and at least 5 years of work experience in an engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline).
