About the Role

As a Brand Manager, you will significantly contribute to growing market share and competitively positioning our brands. You will develop strategies for Brand(s) by developing and implementing ideas and projects. Your goal will be to drive sales, market shares, profit, and consumers' KPIs to meet agreed budgets. You will lead conversations on the brand with key functions and stakeholders at all levels within and outside the organization to ensure buy-in and a smooth implementation of the defined marketing strategies and programs.

Main Responsibilities

Purpose: Develop the strategic and commercial marketing initiatives for Raffaello & Assortments (through-the-line communication, range, pricing) to drive sales, market shares, profit, and consumers' KPIs to meet agreed budgets. Lead the conversations on the brand with key functions and stakeholders at all levels within and outside the organization to ensure buy-in and a smooth implementation of the defined marketing strategies and programs.

Strategy:
Provide insights to define the key role in defining the brand targets, sales mix, net sales, gross margin, and marketing contribution as well as volumes and sales value budget. Participate in preparing key strategic plans defining volumes, P&L, activity plan.
Manage advertising, promotion, research, and market analysis costs.
Give direction on positioning in comparison with competitors' actions.
Develop new product development (NPD) strategy.
Drive innovation through new product and strategy development.

Communication & Media:
Develop the advertising strategy and manage creative agencies.
Monitor the outputs related to the brand plans and participate in the definition of the promotion strategy.
Supervise material development activities (e.g., execution of packaging development and new packaging/labeling projects).
Plan and follow up on conventional and digital media mix.

Research & Experimentation:
Analyze results and data of tests, calculate KPIs, and propose actions.
Participate in proposal, implementation (e.g., briefs), and follow-up of strategic and operational improvement projects.

Collaboration With: Sales Force, Trade Marketing, Head of Media Planning, Region Marketing Manager Category.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Brand Marketing, especially on social & digital marketing strategy.
  • Proactively with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Develops creative solutions.
  • Strong project management, influencing skills, and stakeholder management capability.
  • Proficiency in business analytics skills.
  • Understanding of the China market and consumers/shopper behaviors.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
