About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Engagement Specialist to join our Retail Vertical client engagement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging retailer clients using reliable information, high-quality analysis, and add value through a strong understanding of client needs and providing them with integrated solutions and insights that will help achieve their business goals.
Responsibilities
- Support manager to ensure effective account planning and prompt communication with responsible retailers and internal delivery/product/function teams.
- Engage with the responsible retailers in order to achieve the set business objectives and other operational performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date, and insightful client business profiles to be shared with senior management.
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the identified key persons within the client organization.
- Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations and response to special requests.
- Undertake sales activities independently or in conjunction with management in terms of preparation, proposal, and credentials.
- Manage project process and ensure qualified delivery.
- Ensure the generation of required data flow and/or revenue from the assigned client portfolio and proper contract costing in order to meet the agreed business targets.
- Manage pipeline and revenue conversion.
- Identify and recommend enhanced and new services that answer clients' business needs.
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a strong background in research, sales, or marketing. You should have a proven track record of success in client engagement and account management, with a strong understanding of statistics and multivariate analysis, research techniques, and methodologies.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in research, sales, or marketing in market research/consulting/retailing/FMCG companies.
- Expert knowledge of statistics and multivariate analysis, research techniques, and methodologies.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal savvy.
- Effective writing and presentation skills.
