Commercial Sales Manager for the Chinese Market

Your Role
As a pivotal member of our APAC Sales team, we are seeking a driven Sales Commercial Manager who is enthusiastic about promoting a transformative technology solution within the commodities sector. This role focuses on nurturing client relationships through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential clients through various communication channels, emphasizing proactive outreach.
- Schedule meetings and interact with senior decision-makers, addressing trial follow-ups and troubleshooting inquiries.
- Maintain precise customer and sales data within our internal CRM system, demonstrating a strong drive and collaborative spirit.
- Leverage experience in the commodities domain, particularly in selling innovative data solutions related to the freight and maritime industry or commodities sector in China.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales and research, to onboard new users effectively.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in a sales capacity, with a preference for backgrounds in maritime, shipping, freight, or energy markets.
- Fluent in Chinese with proficient English communication skills, showcasing excellent presentation and persuasion abilities.
- Proven track record in selling solutions within the Maritime, Shipping, Freight, Energy, or Commodities sectors, including B2B SaaS or data solutions.
- Strong interest in enhancing client and product knowledge.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, capable of working independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player focused on maximizing long-term gains for both individual and team success.
- Exceptional customer service, listening, and negotiation skills.
- Adept at analyzing complex client needs and requirements.
- Positive attitude and strong motivation.
