Account Executive-PS

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our team at Microsoft. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth and customer satisfaction through strategic account management and sales excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to identify new business opportunities and drive account growth
  • Proactively develop a comprehensive understanding of customer business and technology needs and priorities
  • Identify opportunities to drive optimizations and new business and technology solutions based on customer strategies
  • Present solutions and ideas based on customer insights and advocate on behalf of the customer internally
  • Support business transformation through technology for assigned accounts in multiple business units to drive business outcomes and create business value for customers
  • Develop and oversee the execution of account plans utilizing common sales and delivery methodology for the Microsoft sales organization
  • Lead multiple, diverse, and high-performing teams and coordinate with internal industry experts on account planning and execution for various accounts
  • Identify initial stakeholders, customer needs, and customer priorities and propose initial Solutions/Sales Plays
  • Engage decision makers of assigned accounts to clearly articulate Microsoft's value proposition aligned to customer's business objectives
  • Develop compelling, value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, Government), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 4+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
