Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our team in China, based in Shenzhen. As a Senior Account Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams within Snap, as well as external partners, to grow advertising revenue. Your responsibilities will include managing the whole business cycle for new business acquisition, prospecting and building a robust pipeline of new business, serving as a product advocate for Snap's new and existing products, and providing day-to-day operational support for partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the whole business cycle for new business acquisition from early stages to closing customers and managing relationships after closure to ensure customer satisfaction, performance, and upsell opportunities.
  2. Prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business by proactively identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working closely with our Sales Development, Onboarding, resellers, and Marketing teams.
  3. Serve as a product advocate for Snap's new and existing products, advising on best practices and bespoke campaign optimizations, and product beta participation.
  4. Dive deep into campaign performance data, guiding KPI-driven measurement strategies, identifying performance trends, seasonality trends, and campaign optimizations to achieve results, and providing recommendations for upsell opportunities.
  5. Provide day-to-day operational support for partners, including managing ad rejection escalations, building audience engagement segments, trafficking ads using Snap's internal tools, and generating post-campaign reports.
  6. Contribute to monthly partner newsletter, combining updates from across the organization into a single communication.
  7. Partner with Global Partnerships Lead to develop programs and initiatives to streamline sales partner operations, accelerate sales partner activities, increase advertiser awareness, and uplevel sales partner expertise on Snap's advertising platform.
  8. Identify, escalate, and resolve client or partner issues, working with cross-functional teams as required.
  9. Manage internal processes for Creative Service Agreements, campaign exceptions, Ad Design Requests, Coupon Generations, and clearly communicate policies to Sales Partners.
  10. Maintain accurate CRM data in Snap's internal tools.
Requirements
  1. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  2. 5+ years of experience in the digital media industry, with a focus on performance and brand marketing, ad-tech, programmatic in real-time bidding marketplaces, or a related field.
  3. Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through strategic and tactical focus and execution.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
  5. Strong Google Sheets/Slides skills, experience with analyzing datasets, and delivering actionable insights.
  6. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining strict attention to detail and strong ownership.
  7. Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape of China export online market.
  2. Experience in export gaming & App industry.
  3. Understanding of advertising performance metrics and ecosystem.
  4. Understanding of media management within a biddable auction advertising environment and demonstrated skill in educating others (e.g., advertisers, agencies).
  5. Ability to summarize insights and best practices, and share them with partners and customers.
  6. Experience in managing and enabling advertising sales partners.
  7. Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environments.
  8. Background working with both internal and external partners.
