Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Underwriting Teammate to join our team at eBay Management. As a key member of our Fraud and MP Policy Investigation teams, you will play a critical role in enabling a healthy and safe marketplace through mitigating risk and loss across multiple eBay sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth account/item reviews to assess the risk to eBay and our brand, including external and internal business issues, root cause analysis of escalations, and high-impact account-level and item actions.
  • Monitor eBay incentive programs, specific site initiatives, and policy or process exception requests, and provide feedback to leadership and Risk/Trust Business Units.
  • Handle escalations, provide summaries, and respond to appeals or manage customer inquiries through email channels.
  • Consult with customers and other lines of business to help customers succeed on the platform, and present case decisions, including end-to-end customer experiences, to leadership.
Requirements
  • 2 years of back-office e2m experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good writing and reading Japanese skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time efficiently, and drive impact to process and tools.
  • Business-minded, with the ability to see trends, opportunities, and multitask.
