Senior Category Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Manager to join our team at AMEX. As a Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth and profitability in the Outdoor category.
Key Responsibilities- Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute category strategies to drive business growth and profitability in the Outdoor category.
- Supplier Management: Manage a portfolio of suppliers within the Outdoor category, driving supplier development and performance.
- Business Analysis: Analyze supplier and category performance to determine tactical next steps and strategic vision.
- Negotiation and Escalation: Negotiate frequently with existing suppliers to optimize performance and cost base, exclusivity, advertising, and other strategic initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of junior category managers and provide guidance and direction towards accomplished targets.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
- Business Acumen: A track record of success in developing relationships with stakeholders, working collaboratively, and negotiating to drive multi-departmental projects.
- Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset and data-driven approach, with demonstrated experience working with complex data to develop robust commercial recommendations.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leading successful commercial negotiations, and managing team members.
- Technical Skills: Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint expertise.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Innovative Problem-Solving: Innovative problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect and determine the root causes of problems and implement solutions.
