Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Referral Laboratory Coordinator to join our team at SHG Labcorp Pharmaceutical Research and Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing external laboratory partnerships, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication with referral laboratories.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of organization, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. As a Senior Referral Laboratory Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining relationships with external partners, negotiating services, and resolving operational issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall process of external laboratory partnerships, including researching potential referral laboratories, contacting them, and negotiating services.
  • Collaborate with referral laboratories to obtain necessary technical information, including specimen collection requirements, reference ranges, turn-around time, and regulatory requirements.
  • Receive notifications of changes in assays from referral laboratories and update relevant documentation accordingly.
  • Provide support to internal teams regarding external laboratory-related issues, obtaining root cause and preventative actions as needed.
  • Facilitate technical discussions with referral laboratory staff, Medical Affairs, Global Heads of CCLS, Scientists of CCLS, Project Management, and/or Sponsor as required.
  • Act as the primary resource for ELMS topics and provide training to colleagues as needed.
  • Support the APH Program Manager in coordinating histology testing sent outside Covance CLS.
  • Maintain accurate records of performance metrics and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure up-to-date training files and document all completed tasks.
  • Provide technical information to Marketing, Sales, Sourcing, Project Management, WLOS, and internal Covance CLS personnel as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly.

Salary:

RMB 250,000 - 350,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
