Job Title: Community Lead, Government Engagement, Greater China

The World Economic Forum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our government engagement efforts in Greater China. As a key member of our Centre for Regions, Trade and Geopolitics (CRTG) team, you will be responsible for facilitating the integration of government constituents into our meetings, initiatives, and other relevant activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government officials and institutions in the region
  • Contribute to the development of our value proposition for government and public sector institutions in Greater China
  • Execute long-term strategy and action plans to engage government and public sector constituents
  • Monitor and analyze strategy and policy priorities of governments to ensure our work in Greater China is relevant and up-to-date
  • Collaborate with wider teams to ensure China-related issues are well integrated into our overall work
  • Lead on Forum leadership's visits to the region and their participation in high-level events
  • Maintain data and documents in our systems
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Public Affairs, Law, Economics, International Relations, or related fields
  • 7-12 years' professional experience in a ministry in China or with extensive experience in government affairs, public policy, or international organizations
  • Deep knowledge of Chinese government, functions, and legislative processes
  • Strong sense of integrity, responsibility, interpersonal skills, agility, and service attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
