About the Role
As a Breaking News Correspondent, Greater China, you will be responsible for monitoring and gathering news across various sources, mostly in Chinese, for developments in regulatory, economic, corporate, commodities, and energy, political, as well as general news.
- Utilize Chinese social media to identify and report stories on news and trends in China.
- Write fast and accurate headlines as well as stories under time pressure across a range of topics.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Greater China and other countries across multiple areas of coverage.
About You
You are a fit for the role of Breaking News Correspondent, Greater China, if your background includes:
- Strong news judgement.
- The ability to filter quickly through complex information to identify and explain key news elements.
- Fluent or native Mandarin and English, with strong English writing ability.
- A fast learner and team player with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
- At least five years' experience working in news.
