About the Role

As a Senior Account Executive at HERE Technologies, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and key metrics in the China and Greater China region. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and interpreting key drivers and trends at client organizations in the Greater China automotive industry to inform the strategic direction of HERE.
  • Leading sales and business development activities with technical and management staff to develop solutions and proposals for customers, including auto OEMs and SVs.
  • Accepting and achieving OKRs and sales targets assigned by the leadership team, ensuring alignment with APAC and Global CCO objectives.
  • Reviewing market analyses to determine customer needs and appropriate price schedules.
  • Participating in trade shows and customer marketing activities to enhance the use and sale of HERE services and products.
  • Preparing and delivering weekly business progress reports and sales pipeline, revenue, and booking forecasts with strong data hygiene and self-restriction.
  • Being responsible for business results and driving contract negotiations and outcomes.
  • Providing account plans and multi-level customer coverage.

About You

You are a sales professional with experience in hunting business opportunities and converting them to revenue in the automotive industry in Greater China. You work with minimal supervision and believe in solving business problems rather than just pushing products. In addition to opening new accounts and opportunities, you also have experience managing current accounts and projects.

You are a strong fit for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies, and work experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant sales experience, including both hunting and farming.
  • Understanding of the automotive industry verticals, including In-Vehicle Infotainment, Connected Vehicle Services, Location-Based Services, and Highly Automated Driving use cases and software/hardware integrations.
  • Understanding of emerging competitors' strategies and actions, and developing counter-strategies to ensure HERE remains the leading digital map database and service supplier.
  • Direct sales experience with the ability to work and deliver outcomes under pressure.
  • Familiarity with software licensing business models and SV partnerships in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly develop a core understanding of the database, related software and hardware platforms, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to understand customer key financial measures and HERE's accounting methods, with an emphasis on accurate forecasting and budgeting.
  • Ability to establish and nurture influential customer relationships, facilitating company-to-company executive-level relationships.
  • Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills.
  • Ability to transcend traditional boundaries and work collaboratively at all levels.
  • Strong oral and written skills in Mandarin and English.
