Position Overview

The role involves formulating a competitive marketing approach and executing impactful events tailored to the specific needs of the regional market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft a regional marketing plan that aligns with the overarching central marketing strategy while considering local market dynamics.
  • Facilitate the execution of national initiatives within the designated region.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, medical professionals, and other departments to foster regional business growth through innovative projects and events.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key opinion leaders, ensuring they are well-informed about advanced disease and treatment options.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent strategic thinking capabilities, market awareness, and a proven track record of execution excellence.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, particularly in sales or marketing, with a preference for oncology therapeutic area experience.
  • Alignment with Gilead's values and corporate culture.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for clinical medicine or science majors.
