Regional Account Development Specialist

About the Role: This position is responsible for driving sales growth within a defined territory. The primary responsibility will include identifying and cultivating new business opportunities and leading high-performing sales teams.

This role develops and expands existing accounts, as well as identifies new ones within an established geographic territory. Distinguished by advanced knowledge in breadth and/or depth, this individual has a record of success in sales and is viewed as an expert in the field. They are assigned to large, complex, highly visible, strategic, or tactically important accounts and may have a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth within a defined territory
- IDentify and cultivate new business opportunities, including prospects and referrals
- Leverage industry knowledge and expertise to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Lead high-performing sales teams and provide coaching and development opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment
- Proven track record of sales success, with a focus on account growth and customer engagement
- Strong industry knowledge and expertise, with a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
