Job Title: Specialist, Operations, Gen Ops-T&M

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist, Operations, Gen Ops-T&M to join our team at DBS Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support and ensuring the smooth execution of daily transactions and settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify daily settlements and confirmations.
  • Handle daily transactions and reconcile them in the operational system.
  • Verify and authorize transactions in the payment system.
  • Prepare and reconcile internal and regulatory reports.
  • Lead a team to complete daily tasks and departmental assignments efficiently and effectively, ensuring the implementation of departmental instructions and procedures.
  • Analyze and resolve team errors and issues promptly, reporting to departmental managers and assisting in risk management to minimize departmental errors.
  • Respond to internal and external client inquiries promptly and accurately within the scope of responsibility.
  • Assist in completing tasks assigned by departmental managers during periods of staff shortages.
  • Participate in internal and external training courses arranged by departmental managers to enhance business skills.
  • Lead and guide team members to learn bank-related operation manuals, regulations, and risk prevention awareness.
  • Train team members according to departmental training plans to enhance employee self-value.
  • Arrange team members' leave and assign standby personnel reasonably to ensure normal operation work.
  • Assist departmental managers in achieving internal and external audit requirements and completing rectification requirements within the specified timeframe.
  • Assist departmental managers in completing various temporary tasks or projects.

Job Dimensions:

  • Supervise backend support work for fund transactions, respond to internal and external client inquiries, and guide and assist subordinates in resolving issues.
  • Guide and assist subordinates in resolving problems.
  • In business processing, identify and report errors, issues, and exceptions to departmental managers.
  • Provide feasible suggestions to departmental managers.

Education and Relevant Experience:

  • University degree or above.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in banking operations.
  • Familiar with SWIFT message operations.
  • Good experience in financial department products and practical operations.
  • Familiar with regulatory laws and regulations.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

  • Fluent English and Chinese writing and speaking skills.
  • Familiar with relevant SWIFT message operations.
  • Familiar with basic financial products.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Teamwork spirit.
  • Good computer application skills.
