About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized APS Acquisition Specialist to join our Asia Supplier Acquisition team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing business development conversations with suppliers on Wayfair, communicating with suppliers as needed, and managing relationships with external partners who provide supplier leads and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute business development conversations with suppliers on Wayfair
  • Communicate with suppliers via email and phone as needed
  • Manage relationships with external partners who provide supplier leads and resources
  • Problem solve challenges and trends as they arise
  • Report on progress of the Acquisition team, including successes and learnings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a better supplier experience
  • Influence strategy and planning for the Asia-based Supplier Acquisition team

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience with relevant work or internship experience (strong preference for e-commerce experience)
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate with owners and executives of large companies
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • A highly curious self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Collaborative by nature, with ability to build relationships and drive change effectively
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to find answers in data
  • Ability to "hit the ground running" and achieve specific targets
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL
