Job Description

  We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our supplier management and quality assurance efforts, ensuring effective production management and quality control processes are in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with suppliers to conduct assessments and audits of their quality systems, verifying adherence to quality standards and requirements.
  • Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers, escalating concerns as necessary to manage direct material quality effectively.
  • Support the development of a supplier scorecard process for the December supplier conference, collaborating with the team to deliver accurate and constructive evaluations.
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 2,000 suppliers, ensuring efficient oversight and guidance regarding quality metrics and performance.
  • Collaborate with Bosch resources to scale the team size from 5 to approximately 10 members to align with business growth and demands.
  • Monitor supplier performance, maintaining ongoing follow-up to ensure effective resolution of quality issues.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a field related to engineering or quality management.
  • 8-10 years of experience in production environments, with a strong background in quality management and supplier production oversight.
  • Proven experience in managing supplier quality processes, particularly for direct materials, within manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience in electrical motor enterprises or similar production sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of guiding a team effectively in achieving quality objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail to address quality issues proactively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with suppliers.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $160,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
