Senior Manager Human Resources, Retail Operations East

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Human Resources to join our Retail East region team. As a key member of the HR team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and team development in adidas China’s East region.

  • Develop and implement integrated HR consultation, solutions, and programs to support retail business growth and team development in the East region.
  • Lead the Retail HR East region team, working closely with the HQ team to ensure we provide the best HR strategies and services to attract, develop, motivate, and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HQ team to customize and drive retail HR strategies implementation in the region.
  • Develop and implement regional HR initiatives according to business requirements.
  • Lead high-quality management of people topics, including performance management, succession planning, compensation review, recruitment management, and more.
  • Lead workforce planning and analysis for the region to shape high-productivity store teams.
  • Establish effective cooperation with legal and labor agencies to ensure labor regulations are fully complied with, resolve labor-related issues, and ensure staff security.
  • Maintain high-level communication with regional retail leadership and promote positive employee relations in the work environment.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with store managers and employees, providing coaching for continuous development and engagement.
  • Source solutions to build skills and capabilities through effective partnerships with HR COE communities.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to the own team, fostering HR talent development.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

  • Good business acumen and knowledge about the industry.
  • HR subject matter expert.
  • Consulting capabilities: brokering solutions to meet business needs, ability to sell HR solutions to the business, trusted advisor, small group facilitation, coaching skills, project management, and delivery.
  • Approachable and strong interpersonal, communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Collaborative.
  • Good leadership and team coaching skills.

Required Education and Experiences:

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in HR function in an international organization with people manager experience in consumer/fashion industry.
  • Experience in retail HR is a must.
