Career Opportunity

The Vendor Relations Specialist role encompasses two key areas: Product Setup Service and Premium Catalogue Service. These workstreams are tailored to deliver top-tier, scalable solutions that assist vendors in enhancing their product selection and optimizing content quality on the Amazon platform.

We are looking for a dedicated Vendor Relations Specialist to ensure the effective operation of the JP program, aligning business needs with an exceptional customer experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, understanding their objectives and performance metrics.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of vendor challenges, compiling and disseminating data to support informed business decisions.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors, setting clear expectations and guiding discussions.
  • Serve as the primary contact and mentor for both offshore and local teams, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
  • Lead and participate in small-scale local projects, defining clear objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Support initiatives with future JP developments in mind.
  • Evaluate and enhance service processes, identifying root causes of inefficiencies.
  • Act as a center of excellence, engaging in catalogue pilots and testing innovative strategies.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve systems and programs.
  • Operate with autonomy and sound judgment, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing risks.
  • Communicate effectively with JP colleagues and management, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and internal partners with accuracy and timeliness, escalating issues as necessary.

Basic Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Japanese, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability in diverse work environments.
  • Strong service orientation with the ability to manage multiple customer relationships and utilize metrics for performance improvement.
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure while delivering high-quality results.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and analytical skills to navigate complex processes and enhance performance against KPIs.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with a passion for ownership and resolution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Content Management Systems, with a quick learning ability for new tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with Python programming.
  • Experience in call handling.
