Senior Sales Specialist– Lab Channel Sales

The Opportunity:
Works independently under close supervision, responsible for selling products and/or services to a group of clients and identify new and potential customers in order to reach the project profitability and billing levels within an assigned sales territory and/or account. Activities include: negotiation, sale, installation or delivery, and post-sale services. Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and/or services and maintaining effective agreements.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, applied chemistry or related Science degree. (MS degree is preferred.)
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years working experience.
Minimal 3 years Sales experience.
Minimum 3 years channel business experience will be an advantage.
Chromatography, chemicals or consumables business experience will be an advantage.
THOSE NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB COMPETENTLY:

Strong industry knowledge in life science industry. Strong application skills in QC solutions other than R&D. Strong People Engagement agility with Channel partners and end customers. Strong Data analysis skills. Strong communication skills. Achieve financial Goals in assigned territory and products by partnership with our channels. Establish strong business relationship with the Channel partners and improve channel coverage for potential market in assigned territory. Build strong relationship with our Channel partners with good management system and schemes. Identify and satisfy customer requirements by communicating the value of Avantor products. Develop positive working relationships with all end customers to really understand the market trend and customer requirement. Anticipate, coordinate and respond to competitive environment and initiatives. Mentor distributor and reseller by way of joint calls, on-boarding practices and strategic selling techniques.
