Sr. Business Marketing Manager

In 2017, we stood up a team in China to drive the awareness, activation, and now continued success of Asia-based crossborder sellers advertising in worldwide 21 marketplaces (North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and International Marketplaces) via full funnel marketing - brand campaign, strategic events, compelling content and insights, social and digital, scaled education, and product business marketing. We are currently looking for a Senior Business Marketing Manager(CN2IX) to spearhead awareness and adoption of Amazon's Sponsored Product among CN-based advertisers in emerging marketplaces(IX). This multifaceted role demands both creative and analytical prowess, as you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities based on data and voice of the customer (VoC), conceptualizing and executing marketing programs and initiatives driven by insights, and ensuring advertiser success while measuring results. Cross-functional collaboration will be crucial, as you will closely partner with teams across the organization, extending beyond the advertising domain, to develop holistic advertiser communication strategies and accurately identify growth opportunities. This is a critical position, and your efforts will directly contribute to expanding the advertiser base, driving business growth, and facilitating product improvements.
Key job responsibilities
•Drive Ads product awareness and consideration for China-based advertisers in global marketplaces
•Perform segmented advertiser opportunity analysis and make insight-based recommendations on business decisions
•Set up overall business goals for managed ad products. Define and Review goals and targets with global and China stakeholders.
•Command a deep understanding of Amazon ad product features/usage and customer needs; create and launch marketing programs and assets (in partnership with Marketing teams) to drive product adoption
•Build strong relationships with senior leaders on internal stakeholder teams including Marketing, Education, Ad Sales, Consumer Partners, and Product
•Manage monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles in partnership with Finance and Marketing organization.
•Create effective mechanisms to track key inputs to the business and report closely on their progress.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- 8+ years of work experience. Ideally in business marketing, product marketing, program management, strategy, in advertising or ecommerce
- Passion for metrics and quantitative analysis (SQL strongly preferred)
- Ability to turn analysis into insights, ideas, and action
- Excellent executive-level written and oral
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
- Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast paced workplace and deal with ongoing change and ambiguity
- Strong can do attitude
- MBA or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
- Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done
- Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
