Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our Institutional Cash & Trade (ICT) team. This role is crucial in managing and enhancing relationships with our institutional clients in the financial sector.

The ICT division operates globally, focusing on cash management and trade finance solutions tailored for financial institutions. Our Beijing team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for:
- Acting as the Accountable Client Owner (ACO) for a portfolio of institutional clients, collaborating closely with the Sales Lead and Customer Service Team.
- Originating and facilitating transactions related to letters of credit and trade guarantees, ensuring compliance with Deutsche Bank's global network.
- Meeting Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirements and maintaining documentation for client relationships.
- Promoting the full range of Cash Management and Trade Finance products to financial institutions, including money transfer, liquidity management, and trade finance solutions.
- Achieving sales objectives and maintaining high standards of client management and service.
- Working with the Sales Lead to develop strategies for acquiring new clients and business opportunities.
- Conducting KYC reviews and onboarding new clients, while managing client relationships effectively.
- Analyzing payment flows and internal data to identify potential business opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and bank policy requirements in all sales activities.
- Collaborating with Product Management to develop innovative solutions.
- Managing client events and presentations to enhance client engagement.
- Completing mandatory training and compliance obligations related to risk management.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in the correspondent banking industry, preferably with a major European or US financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of cash management and trade finance products.
- Familiarity with compliance and risk management in the financial sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
