Strategic Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategy professional to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities that drive growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify business development opportunities
- Develop and present compelling business cases for strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners and investors
- Participate in due diligence and deal structuring to ensure successful execution
- Oversee the deal process to achieve strategic objectives
- 8+ years of experience in business development, M&A, financial advisory, or management consulting
- Strong academic background, with preference given to those with an MBA or equivalent experience
- Ability to think strategically and align with company objectives for the long term
- Strong analytical and technical skills to evaluate opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in both Chinese and English
- Ability to think critically and analyze complex problems from multiple perspectives
- Motivated, highly organized, friendly, and adept at working collaboratively
- Experience in relevant industries a plus (life science, analytical instruments, medical device)
