Strategic Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our corporate development team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business development opportunities that align with our company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential business development opportunities
- Develop and execute strategies to pursue and close deals, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and licensing agreements
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, customers, and investors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deal execution and integration
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the business development team to drive growth and revenue
- 5+ years of experience in business development, M&A, financial advisory, or management consulting
- Strong academic background, with a preference for those with an MBA or equivalent experience
- Ability to think strategically and align with company objectives for the long term
- Strong analytical and technical skills to evaluate opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in both Chinese and English
- Ability to think critically and analyze complex problems from multiple perspectives
- Motivated, highly organized, friendly, and adept at working collaboratively
- Experience in relevant industries a plus (life science, analytical instruments, medical device)
