Overview

An experienced sales professional will cover top accounts in the Enterprise Commercial team. The ideal candidate will design winning strategies for high-potential accounts, manage customer relationships, and leverage internal and external resources to exceed sales budgets.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

  • Builds and maintains relationships with executives and business decision-makers at high levels of the customer's organization through consultative engagement to establish a rhythm of business with customer sponsors.
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business and technology needs and priorities for each assigned account.
  • Identifies opportunities to drive optimizations and new business and technology solutions based on customer strategies.

Account Management

  • Develops and oversees the execution of account plans utilizing common sales and delivery methodology for the Microsoft sales organization.
  • Drives accountability to deliver on account plans among the extended virtual teams and internal industry experts.
  • Leads extended teams and partners to scale business by understanding partner goals and creating an interest in mutual business growth.

Sales Excellence

  • Seeks customer feedback to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction.
  • Leverages internal resources to support customer needs and orchestrates others to anticipate issues and determine the root cause of problems.
  • Establishes agreement on success measures and manages execution to prevent the need for recovery plans.

Industry Knowledge

  • Builds and maintains a strong knowledge of Microsoft's product landscape, solutions, and strategy in the industry of assigned accounts.
  • Coordinates with internal industry experts to gather industry data and improve planning.
