Job Summary

As a CN Sales Representative for Oregon Tool, you will be responsible for meeting territory sales targets, monitoring competitive activities, and providing product training to distributors, dealers, and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet territory sales targets
  • Monitor competitive activities and organize adequate reporting
  • Provide product training/demonstration to distributors, dealers, and end-users as required
  • Promote Blount products and participating in technical clinics and field days
  • Gather product warranty claims in the field and report
  • Monitor field inventories
  • Maintain an awareness of the business climate for our industry and products
  • Promote brand awareness of Blount's products
  • Upgrade product technical/application information for local market
  • Recommend and implement product promotion opportunities as appropriate
  • Recommend required sales aids to get the job done right
  • Ensure that the company's assets are responsibly maintained and safely taken care of
  • Observe expense budget and corporate travel & entertainment policy's guidelines
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.
  • Resolves customer complaints
  • Maintaining records on area and customer sales

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in international business, Science or relevant specialty
  • 2 to 5 years working experience as Sales Representative or relative experience
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills with team spirit
  • Ability to work on multiple task and finish within tight deadline
  • Fluent oral and written English is a plus
  • Good at office software, especially word, excel, acrobat, and etc.
  • Independent personality with great problem-solving skills, desire for responsibility and willingness to travel
