About the Role:

As a seasoned Enterprise Account Manager at Altium, you will be responsible for selling our innovative platform to a set of strategically targeted accounts. You will be the primary point of contact for these customers, owning the interface from onboarding to long-term retention and growth of the relationship and revenue. This role requires a strong ability to identify and communicate readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks to realizing forecasted revenue on or ahead of schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for a robust portfolio of assigned Enterprise customers and own the interface (onboarding, ongoing account management, and long-term retention/growth of the relationship and revenue)
  • Identify and communicate readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks to realizing forecasted revenue on or ahead of schedule
  • Serve as the team's internal expert in a particular vertical
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and resiliency skills
  • Track record of demonstrating sound business judgment, evaluating alternatives, and making recommendations that were adopted and ultimately successful
  • Negotiate successfully, prior and after a contract is signed
  • Manage execution of significant or complex contracts, including initial intake, renegotiation of terms, and schedules
  • Manage and update the pipeline of opportunities within SalesForce
  • Travel as needed to customer sites and meetings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 3+ years of business development or account management experience
  • Fluent in English is a plus
  • 3+ years working with customers to support a technical product/service
  • Experience building long-term and successful customer relationships by demonstrating empathy, active listening, and resiliency skills
  • Significant technical knowledge of design software or related technology
  • Ability to synthesize multiple unique requirements and suggest smart solutions, products, or features
  • Track record of demonstrating sound business judgment, evaluating alternatives, and making recommendations that were adopted and ultimately successful
  • Ability to negotiate successfully
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to craft and present professional presentations at all levels
  • Experience in the technology industry is strongly preferred but we will consider candidates with experience selling software as a service product
  • Availability and willingness to travel as needed to customer sites and meetings
