Job Title: International Business Development Strategist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities in the Asia region.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to uncover new business prospects in Asia.
  • Analyze market trends and research industry insights, focusing on the Asian market.
  • Create comprehensive business plans with clear objectives and goals.
  • Manage and oversee the BD Asia team, ensuring timely deliverables and effective planning.
  • Prepare and submit fee proposals, responses to tenders, grant applications, business plans, and RFPs.
  • Communicate with potential and existing clients, responding to their inquiries and needs.
  • Organize regional tours to expand professional networks and meet with potential clients.
  • Design, create, and deliver high-level Chinese and English business reports.
  • Coordinate client visits, negotiate fees and contracts in China and Asia.
  • Manage client and consultant contracts, ensuring compliance and payment schedules.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree in International Business, Real Estate, Design, Communications, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in business development for an international design firm in real estate, architecture, or creative industries, with a proven track record in China and Asia markets.
  • An established network of clients in China and Asia.
  • Excellent command of written and oral English (fluent Mandarin skills are an asset).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with a collaborative team mentality.
  • Attention to detail, responsibility, and a proactive approach.
  • Marketing and client communication skills.
  • A commitment to professional growth through hands-on experience.
  • Confidence and self-discipline in complex international environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum.

This figure is based on industry standards, location, and job requirements, ensuring the successful candidate receives a competitive compensation package.
