Retail Business Development Strategist

We're seeking a highly skilled Retail Business Development Manager to join our team at NielsenIQ. As a key member of our Consumer & Marketing Insights Team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business pipeline growth, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Plan and execute local and global sales campaigns, measuring sales performance and driving sales excellence.
- Generate sales contacts and leads, developing relationships with industry leaders and stakeholders.
- Work closely with Industry and Solution leaders to drive sales cycles and close deals.
- Provide thought leadership and analysis to grow GfK's capacity for engaging with clients.
- Have a deep understanding of the technology consumer goods industry and provide market insights to clients.
- Collaborate with Finance and Sales Operations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Champion sales administration, contract management, and Salesforce best practices.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in sales, client account management, or marketing and merchandising in the Tech & Durables Retail Industry.
- Strong understanding of client business priorities and pain points.
- Excellent networking, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Digitally savvy and able to maintain GfK brand and point of view on social networks.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
