Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Client Account Manager to enhance our team at Clarivate. This role presents a unique opportunity to engage with our innovative products and services. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Segment Sales. This team is focused on driving sales for our suite of products, including proprietary databases and API solutions.

Candidate Profile – Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, with a preference for candidates with a background in science or engineering;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software sales;
  • Proven ability to identify client business needs, with a strong focus on enhancing customer experience and proactively developing new client relationships;
  • Excellent learning aptitude, capable of quickly acquiring knowledge related to products and services;
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with exceptional presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the intellectual property sector is a plus;
  • Experience in independently managing large accounts is advantageous;
  • Familiarity with SaaS product sales is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales of global patent database software services and innovative solutions to enterprises, government agencies, research institutions, and universities;
  • Independently develop client relationships, identify sales opportunities, and drive contract negotiations to achieve business objectives;
  • Effectively manage client accounts, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction through regular follow-ups and service enhancements.

About the Team

This team is responsible for driving sales in the central region, focusing on our core products. With a team of 7 professionals, we collaborate closely with pre-sales, post-sales, data, and product teams to expand our client base and enhance service delivery, ultimately improving regional performance and customer satisfaction.

Work Schedule

The position requires an 8-hour workday, with potential for overtime and occasional travel for client meetings.
