Sales Director for Medical Devices

Job Title: District Sales Leader, Ultrasound
Job Description: In this critical sales leadership position, you will have the opportunity to lead the sales team in the medical devices industry. Your exceptional business acumen, sensitivity to market dynamics, and good track record will make you a valuable asset to Philips.
- Works as Distributor Manager on moderate scope problems, analyzing distributor data using Root Cause Analysis.
- Develops solutions requiring a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of distributor principles, theories, and concepts.
- Formulates solutions for partial problems by combining previous experiences based on technical analysis and distributor studies.
- Leads small distributor projects, managing a small number of people.
You are responsible for:
- Receiving assignments in the form of objectives and determining how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
- Providing guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
- Recommending changes to sales policies and establishing procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
- Working on issues of diverse scope, analyzing situations or data requiring evaluation of various factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Following processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Acting as an advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- Developing and administering schedules, performance requirements, and mostly having budget responsibilities.
- Frequently interacting with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, involving matters between functional areas or customers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree with > 8 years of sales experience in the medical device industry.
- Good business acumen, sensitivity to market dynamics, and a good track record.
