Job Overview
As a Cargo Sales Manager at Teleport, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end sales of international air cargo services and products. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue earnings within the cargo sales market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily contact with key account agents and shippers for revenue generation.
- Identify market opportunities and leverage our competitive advantage to meet customer needs.
- Seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services to clients.
- Onboard customers providing recurring demand at attractive rates.
- Manage relationships with shippers, industry partners, and trade partners.
- Work with the sales team to provide customer-centric solutions.
- Conduct agent performance reviews and provide sales and financial data.
- Analyze data using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and prepare relevant reports and presentations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales Management at an Air Cargo business, with a solid knowledge of Air Cargo Sales & Marketing.
- Strong track record of developing and leading successful marketing and sales programs for an Airline Cargo business.
- Strong air cargo sales experience in business-to-business sales and marketing.
- Excellent communication skills (English is an added advantage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for short-term and long-term strategies.
- A well-structured, highly professional individual with a results-focused approach.
- Strong business sense and ability to apply judgment during negotiations.
Salary Range
200,000-400,000 per year.
