Responsibilities:- Continuously assess market trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Focus on new channels trends and consumer dynamics;
• Conduct external market research, consumer and customer needs analysis, category trends deep-dive and competitor benchmark to provide fact-based insights and develop a well-rounded view;
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including category, sales, GTM, supply chain and R&D to integrate cross-functional inputs. - Develop a GTM model and playbook for new occasions/channels for scaled expansions in MU:
• Identify potential outlets and trade partner opportunities;
• Work with MU and BU BD teams to assess different value chain designs and develop relevant business cases;
• Define the GTM model by RCD, service partner, and PEP direct trade models. - Define a playbook for each AFH channel:
• Compose compelling portfolio solutions based on the right consumer profile and needs;
• Lead SLAM teams on project basis for new product solutions;
• Creatively come up with new channels activation solutions including to-trade and in-store;
• Define and align with key stakeholders new channels/occasion investment models;
• Enable frontline with the right customer management capabilities and tools. - Compose an action plan for MU and implement in frontline:
• Mobilize MU team with clear customer list, action plan, target, and timeline;
• Track and intervene business development process.
- • Consulting background or AFH business background is a plus for business understanding and strategic thinking;
• Strong understanding of China FMCG industry and new channels opportunities;
• Bright, self-driven, and intellectually curious thinker who is passionate about consumer goods and its commercial agenda;
• Excellent problem-solving intrinsics with analytical skills and clear structured thinking to define problems and frameworks;
• Rich experience in AFH;
• Strong and persuasive communication skills, influencing and collaboration skills;
• Executive maturity, high integrity, and values-driven;
• Strong English communication and business presentation skills, with high attention to details. - • Action-biased and result-oriented mindset;
• Strategic thinking with top-down and longer-term perspectives;
• Leadership and influencing skills to implement in a complex environment;
• Sound English and Chinese fluency in both oral and written.
We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of the China FMCG industry and new channels opportunities. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving intrinsics, strong communication skills, and executive maturity. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
