Main Objectives

Drive retail sales growth, showroom management, and sell-out via excellent retail planning and execution of the right product, pricing, place, and promotion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Retail Strategy and New Market Development

    Identify and evaluate appropriate Route-To-Market strategies, including geographic expansion via new showrooms, new distributors, and subdealers. Recruit new exclusive Villeroy & Boch distributors and support the distributor system to cover gaps and areas where performance needs to be improved.

  2. Showroom Expansion and Quality Management

    Lead and manage showroom development and expansion plans, highlighting further business opportunities. Add new Villeroy & Boch full product mono-brand showrooms and upgrade non-conforming showrooms. Establish a flagship showroom strategy in 26 key cities and improve the quality, image, product display, and sales management of showroom operations.

  3. Promotion Mechanism and Retail Sell-out

    Develop national-level promotion mechanisms and work with Product Marketing, Trade Marketing, SCM, and Retail Sales teams to drive the implementation of Retail Promotion effectively. Manage and track retail sell-out performance closely, and supervise the implementation of promotional mechanisms and small programs to enhance showroom sell-out.

  4. Retail Sales Channel Development

    Jointly work with the digital marketing department and tools to realize Villeroy & Boch private domain customers linking showroom sales and designer channels, and to realize sales. Develop strategic cooperation with key partners, including Red Star, Easy-Home, CIMEN, Aye, and RERLook, to drive showroom drop, national promotions, opening, distribution investment, and resources advertising.

  5. Retail Team Management and Development

    Demonstrate strong leadership and be a role model for all retail teams. Direct and lead teams to ensure excellent retail execution based on company strategy and direction. Ensure cross-functional needs are incorporated in business/strategy action plans. Review performance of direct reports, guide and motivate to achieve or exceed objectives, and contribute to developing the China BW Retail team.

Requirements

At least 10 years' experience in sales and marketing, especially retail sales development, distributors management, and consumer point-of-sale sell-out management market development, preferably gained from Sanitary Kitchen & Bath or Home durable consumer products industries. A competent sales leader with good track record, strong analysis and logical ability, clear structured thinking, high business acumen, and good business planning, negotiation, and express ability. Must build and sustain a collaborative partnership with internal and external stakeholders to achieve an open and coherent culture amidst timeline and aggressive business targets requirements. Should be an excellent presenter, self-confident while a team player, and comfortable on frequent travel across China. Workable ability in English and skilled PC operator.
