Main Objectives

Drive retail sales growth and new business development in the China market, applying Villeroy & Boch's corporate and regional sales strategy to increase market shares and meet sustainable business and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Retail Strategy and New Market Development
  • Identify and evaluate Route-To-Market strategies, including geographic expansion, competitiveness in retail channels, and sell-out mechanisms.
  • Recruit new exclusive Villeroy & Boch distributors and support the distributor system to cover gaps and areas where performance needs to be improved.
  • Ensure excellent execution of agreed sales plans and market share of the 3-year long-range plan.
Showroom Expansion and Quality Management
  • Lead and manage showroom development and expansion plans, highlighting further business opportunities.
  • Add new Villeroy & Boch full-product mono-brand showrooms and upgrade non-conforming showrooms.
  • Establish flagship showrooms in 26 key cities and improve the quality, image, product display, and sales management of showroom operations.
Promotion Mechanism and Retail Sell-out
  • Develop national-level promotion mechanisms and work with Product Marketing, Trade Marketing, SCM, and Retail Sales teams to drive retail promotion effectively.
  • Manage and track retail sell-out performance closely.
  • Unify market activities and supervise the implementation of promotional mechanisms to enhance showroom sell-out.
Retail Sales Channel Development
  • Jointly develop VB private domain customers linking showroom sales and designer channels.
  • Expand the HOME DECO Channel and establish strategic cooperation with key partners.
  • Manage big retail channel planning in coordination with online channels to synchronize online and offline efforts.
Retail Team Management and Development
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and be a role model for all retail teams.
  • Direct and lead teams to ensure excellent retail execution based on company strategy and direction.
  • Review performance of direct reports, guide, and motivate to achieve or exceed objectives.
Requirements

At least 10 years' experience in sales and marketing, especially in retail sales development, distributor management, and consumer point-of-sale sell-out management. A competent sales leader with good track record, strong analysis and logical ability, high business acumen, and excellent presentation skills.

Workable ability in English and skilled PC operator.
