Strategic Business Growth Manager

About the Role:
The Business Development Manager at Ashland will be responsible for driving growth and developing strategic partnerships to enhance the company's presence in the pharma excipients market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
- Promote Ashland's products and services to meet or predict customer objectives.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales growth.
- Provide key findings of competitive information to the sales team and offer trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and conduct customer webinars on Ashland products.
- Regularly train sales teams on product USPs and latest applications/technologies.
- Away travel between 30% to 40%.
- Develop a robust opportunity pipeline for future business.
Requirements:
- Preferably a pharma graduate with an MBA.
- A minimum of 15 years of successful technical selling experience in pharma excipients.
- Established network of industry contacts.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prospect and network at accounts to establish new growth opportunities.
- Ability to relate to all levels of an organization.
- Experience in Key Account Management.
