China Region Business Controller Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic finance professional to lead our China Flow Control finance function. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping financial strategies, ensuring compliance, enabling change, and driving excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with APAC MA and local sales teams to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and compliance activities to ensure organizational objectives are met.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at senior management level to develop and implement finance & accounting strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new finance & accounting process excellence initiatives, including strategic resource allocation, organization structure, integrations, leadership, finance & accounting systems, and techniques for improved efficiencies.
  • Communicate with government bodies for legal entity-wise topics and work on government subsidies.
  • Bridge business finance, treasury, GFO, tax, internal audit, and group finance teams as needed.
  • Lead, develop, and challenge team members to continuously improve key skills, emphasizing a learning orientation and managing performance effectively.
  • Ensure appropriate instructions are in place and perform according to Quality, Safety, Environmental, and other company management system, policies, compliance, practices, and instructions.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with experience in business reporting and related tools.
  • China accounting, finance, and tax knowledge and background.
  • IFRS and Group Reporting experience.
  • High individual responsibility of results.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with a complex environment and understand business impact.
  • Good networking and communication skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Managerial experience.
  • 7+ years relevant experience.
