TPU Sales and Marketing Professional

At Covestro, we are seeking a seasoned TPU sales and marketing professional to join our team as a Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to drive profitable sales growth and expand our presence in the Industrial market.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced sales professional who can build and execute short and mid-term segment strategies, as well as explore and handle key customers in the Industrial market. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales goals through close collaboration with key customers and internal departments.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective segment strategies to drive profitable sales growth;
- Closely work with key customers and internal departments to ensure sales goals are achieved;
- Develop a healthy opportunity pipeline and successfully close opportunities to drive revenue growth;
- Gather in-depth understanding of target markets and end users' technical requirements and competitive landscape via direct interface with key customers and end users' design, R&D and engineering teams;
- Build strong relationships with customers, end users, and potential business partners in target market segments;
- Collaborate with AD & marketing to introduce and collateralize new product launches for specific end user segments and provide technical sales support for end users and converters;
- Represent Covestro in cross-BU activities, including strategy workshops, tech days, promotion campaigns, industrial association activities, etc.
- In-depth degree in Chemistry, plastic or engineering with good knowledge in thermoplastic;
- Minimum 8 years' experience in plastic industry;
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams;
- Experience in TPU sales and marketing is preferred;
- Degree qualification in a technical, scientific or business discipline;
- Excellent influencing/presentation/negotiation skills;
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
