Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Global Account Manager to join our team at Kpler. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting growth within our National Oil Companies in China, identifying and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and retaining and renewing existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a global strategy for account growth, backed by a short and mid-term forecast pipeline.
  • Work closely with account development managers, customer success, marketing, and professional services to ensure usage of existing users, uncover new opportunities, and drive the global strategy of named accounts.
  • Maintain and grow strong relationships and partnerships with existing clients.
  • Run trials and data evaluation with new users to expand the account.
  • Organize client appreciation events and work with marketing to reward existing clients and maintain brand recognition.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in sales in the Energy & Commodities industry.
  • Significant experience in global account management roles.
  • Proven ability to hit large sales quotas and over-deliver.
  • Strong interest in building client and product knowledge.
  • Driven and self-disciplined, with the ability to work in autonomy without much guidance.
  • Excellent customer service, listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex client requirements and needs.
  • Fluent in Chinese.
