About the Role

The Regional Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing one or more regional key accounts by developing business strategies, creating customer plans, and negotiating contracts. This role will support the Regional Key Accounts team and the respective region in delivering regional commitments.



Main Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Customer Plan




  • Propose sales strategies and customer plans for the customers managed;


  • Develop a joint business plan (JBP) based on the competitive advantage of the customers and company business strategy.


2. Negotiation




  • Negotiate and sign contract with customers and ensure the contract terms align with company guidelines;


  • Negotiate annual/session promotion plans with customers according to marketing plans;


  • Negotiate implementation of planograms and positions, supporting field teams for local implementation.


3. Planning and Control




  • Develop and manage monthly rolling sales forecasts for assigned customers;


  • Regularly review business with field sales teams and customers to identify opportunities, maximize customer plans, and improve execution efficiency;


  • Allocate trade spending budget for customers managed according to guidance;


  • Check and calculate distributor trading terms reimbursement;


  • Ensure stock management and control, proposing actions to resolve over-stocks and out-of-stocks.


4. Field Communication




  • Ensure application of national and regional Key Account (KA) agreements in the field;


  • Implement marketing and trade marketing strategies or activities in assigned customers and stores, reporting on opportunities and obstacles;


  • Allocate budget and resources to stores;


  • Monitor in-store activities performance and accomplishment of sales conditions, agreements.



Requirements

Key qualifications include a college degree, English proficiency, and experience in key account management in the FMCG industry. Strong analytical, account management, and negotiation skills are required, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
