We're seeking a talented Regional Procurement Director - Asia Pacific to join our team. This role will play a critical part in driving business growth and excellence in the region.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of global category strategy and implement it for your portfolio, ensuring alignment, compliance, and adherence to process standards to deliver required business performance in your region.
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners and suppliers.
  • Analyze purchasing markets and segments, identifying trends and opportunities to mitigate supply risk and gain competitive advantage.
  • Manage supplier relationships, incorporating company responsibility and commitment to sustainable business practices.
  • Plan and execute sourcing events to create a competitive advantage.
  • Sustain yearly savings, price index, working capital improvements, sustainability, and other key performance indicators in tight regulatory markets.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or MBA/MS in a business or technical field.
  • Strong leadership, managerial, negotiation, communication, presentation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage virtual teams and demonstrate analytical decision-making skills and creative thinking.
  • Familiarity with strategic procurement, quality management systems, Japanese and Korean chemical regulatory requirements, and logistics processes.
