Job Title: Senior Regional Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:

  • To implement and execute regional marketing strategies and plans, collect feedback from regions, and continuously optimize marketing strategies and execution.
  • To collaborate with professional societies and academic institutions to increase marketing opportunities and voice in regions, ensuring compliance and efficient execution.
  • To identify, develop, and maintain regional experts, drive expert mindset change, and influence more grassroots doctors to enhance standardized treatment concepts through academic activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Central Marketing Department Brand Strategy Implementation and Execution, and Support for Regional Marketing Plan Formulation and Execution:

  • Familiarize yourself with central marketing department strategy content and execution requirements, and promote central marketing department strategy execution in the region (including single product and product combination).
  • Discover and grasp local product development opportunities, fully communicate with regional managers, and support regional managers in formulating regional marketing plans in accordance with marketing department strategies, to support sales and ensure effective execution of important product strategies.
  • Hold monthly product strategy and product knowledge update training to ensure all regional products are synchronized with marketing department information. Through representative/area manager visits, fully understand grassroots market conditions, and provide feedback. Attend regional manager monthly management meetings to provide suggestions for regional management.
  • Regularly collect, analyze, and report on regional market trends and competition information; understand market dynamics, and help regional managers adjust sales strategies.
  • Team collaboration capabilities, such as cooperation with sales departments, commercial excellence departments, compliance departments, and CAMAC, to support sales team business activities execution.
  • Utilize project management capabilities to support marketing activities and TA projects execution;

2. Excellent Execution of Society Sponsorships and Regional Activities:

  • Maintain good communication with local professional societies, understand regional market environment, identify development opportunities, enhance GSK promotional activities' influence and coverage, and propose constructive opinions to support regional long-term development in the annual plan.
  • Responsible for the entire process of society sponsorships, self-held events as EO, from obtaining sponsorship letters, activity applications to on-site execution, and final financial procedures, with the Regional Promotion Manager personally responsible throughout the process.
  • Excellent execution of regional market activities, ensuring compliance and efficient execution within the company's regulatory framework, and supporting product strategy execution.
  • Track and analyze regional market activities, regularly review and analyze, maximize effective use of marketing resources, and provide improvement plans.

3. Identification and Maintenance of Regional Experts, Development of Coverage Plans, Market Information, and Expert Mindset Change:

  • Familiarize yourself with influential KOLs in the region's market.
  • Confirm regional expert list, integrate region, market, and medicine, and formulate coverage plans, and reach agreement with MSL/RM.
  • Regularly visit experts to gain insight into expert opinions, based on the current opinions of KOLs, formulate development plans (visit frequency and communication purposes, opinion and behavior changes), and through daily visits or joint visits with medical departments, promote KOL opinions, invite them as GSK speakers.
  • Based on the expert opinions obtained, provide feedback suggestions for marketing department brand strategies;

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
  • More than 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 1 year of sales management experience in an MNC or at least 1 year of regional marketing promotion experience.
  • Able to handle English reading and writing related to work.
  • Good cross-team communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good strategic thinking (understanding and executing central marketing strategies).
  • Good computer operation skills, able to proficiently use Word, Excel, PPT.
  • Operating at pace and agile decision-making – using evidence and applying judgment to balance pace, rigor, and risk.
