Position Overview

The Business Director and Sales Manager will work together to develop and implement local sales and marketing strategies. The Sales Manager will lead a large business team to achieve yearly quotas and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute regional sales plans and activities in conjunction with the BU Director.
  2. Monitor regional sales performance on an ongoing basis, initiate corrective actions, prepare reports, summaries, analyses, and documentation on all aspects of region sales management.
  3. Support marketing activities such as sales promotion, training, market research, and execute special projects.
  4. Integrate individual territory plans and account profiles into a broader regional sales plan and coach sales team accordingly.
  5. Plan and manage control expenses to ensure sales objectives are met within budget.
  6. Develop and maintain close relationships with dealers to ensure adherence to the company policy and alignment with the business strategy.
  7. Responsible for providing continuous tools and education programs to group members to ensure up-to-date industry, competitor, and product knowledge.
  8. Build an engaged sales team by providing strong leadership and implementing appropriate R.E.D. initiatives in partnership with HR.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in medicine, medical, or sales and marketing related areas.
  • At least 3 years sales & marketing experience, with hands-on managerial experience.
  • Proven record in sales management, and key account management. Channel management preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving & interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with good negotiation & communication skills.
  • Strong business sense.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key business relationships internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment.
