Branch Management Office (BMO) Overview

BMO plays a pivotal role in HBCN's network strategy to maintain market leadership among foreign banks. It oversees the HBCN branches, governs the implementation of the Branch Operating Model, and delivers the planning and execution of network expansion and optimization, in collaboration with Global Businesses and Global Functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and implement various strategic projects advised by the SEO in the region.
  • Work closely with the SEO to identify and drive local business opportunities in respective regions.
  • Coordinate and manage the implementation of network rollout in respective regions as per the annual network plan.
  • Facilitate cross-business collaboration, monitor business performance vs. projection, and work with relevant business lines to identify gaps and propose improvement initiatives.
  • Establish mechanisms and processes to support branches in hosting regular meetings to review business performance, branch risk management, and general operating matters.
  • Communicate with SEO, BMs, and GBs/GFs on locally formulated strategic initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Support SEO, BMs, and GBs/GFs in executing new business initiatives.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to maintain frequent communication regarding branch-raised issues and queries to reach agreements and solutions in a timely manner.
  • Support SEO in overseeing regulatory findings and audit findings, analysis, and taking action to prevent repeat findings in other locations.
  • Work with branches to prepare for spring tours and regulatory inspections.
  • Support SEO with monthly reporting and analytics, and other assignments from an execution perspective.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness and control related to project management for various business and non-business programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree holder (recognized by the state)
  • Solid skills in PPT and Excel (preferable)
  • Good communication skills and teamwork spirits
  • Self-disciplined, motivated, well-organized, and proactive in anticipating the support needs of the Head of CMO
  • Strong English abilities, both written and verbal
