Ashland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Life Science business unit in China. This is a key role within the Commercial function, reporting directly to the LS China Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for sales operations in assigned territory, focusing on personal sales targets, new business development, and troubleshooting on problem or key markets.
- Work closely with marketing, technology, and supply chain functions in China to drive business growth.
- Maintain existing accounts and develop new business opportunities, taking overall responsibility for sales goals and building strong relationships with key strategic accounts, clients, and distributors.
- Communicate frequently with Marketing and Technology to ensure new product development and target account development.
- Propose, develop, and implement sales forecasts.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical, or Polymer materials related.
- At least two years of working experience in sales function.
- Significant travel to customers (over 50%) required.
- Good command of computer, good interpersonal and communication skills, and high sense of responsibility.
