About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Education Coordinator to lead our IB Diploma Programme. As a key member of our academic team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of the IB Diploma Programme, ensuring alignment with school policies and curricular requirements.
  • Guide teachers in planning and instruction of IB Diploma Programme subjects, providing support and resources as needed.
  • Develop and maintain school policies for special needs and assessments, coordinating with the IB Organization.
  • Design and deliver parent workshops on programme overviews and support strategies.
  • Implement and adapt the IB Diploma Programme curriculum and teaching strategies, creating a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs, integrating technology where suitable.
  • Uphold behaviour standards and adhere to health and safety policies.
  • Foster student self-esteem and maintain regular communication with parents and the community.
  • Serve as a role model and participate in school meetings and development activities.
  • Maintain subject knowledge and engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Respect colleagues' needs and maintain team cohesion, contributing to the school's efficient operation.
  • Lead new school initiatives and respond constructively to self-evaluation reviews.
  • Develop IT capabilities in line with the school's digital learning strategy.
Requirements
  • Degree with recognized secondary education and IB Diploma Programme teacher training or equivalent qualifications for QTS.
  • Must have experience with the IB Diploma Programme curriculum and proficiency in English for teaching.
  • Show evidence of ongoing, relevant professional development.
